I'm relatively new to SL so forgive my ignorance.
When building objects that are meant to be held by av's how do I make the object attach to my av in the right point. For example, I recently made an ice cream cone, but when i attached it to the hand of my av it was upside down, and not being held where you would hold an ice cream.
What can I do about this?
Any advice would be greatly received.
Thanks.

From: Smallholder Bellow What can I do about this? Once you do 'Attach to..' and select your attachment point (as sounds you have done so far) the object orients to a default position. One way to fix this is to Edit the object while holding it to then drag, rotate, etc it into the right position. Sometimes this can be a real pain in the AV though, since your AV moves around and makes it hard to get the position correct. You can use either an animation that locks you into one posture to hold you steady, or buy one of those nifty pose stands that are available in world. Its a stand you 'Sit' on and it locks you into one of several useful postures to you to do the rotating and moving and such. I'm sure other folks will provide better suggestions too. -Ghoti

Smallholder, If you don't have one (a posing stand) by this evening (circa 5:30 pm game time)when I log in, give me an IM and I will happily drop you one that is Full rights.

Smallholder...
Did you get it?
Sometimes inventory gives don't work so good if the other party is offline.
