Something I worked on that had a lot of tiny details looks great on the ground but when I attach it, the smaller details seem to shift and misalign or look like and LOD issue. I thought it was an LOD issue at first too, but I'm not really sure, since other things I have built with small details just like this, don't seem to have a problem. Anyone know why this happens?

Have you checked your Detail sliders in preferences?
I haven't personally noticed this but that would be the first thing I would check.

yeah i'm running full setting on everything... i run dual 7800 cards which I don't know if sl supports this card yet fully... but it seems to be on curves I manipulated actually. I know there is some lod when i look at a circle from a distance (only in SL for me, no other games). Sometimes they look like hexagons then they revert to full circles after a couple seconds... but the problem I am experiencing in SL is that only when I attach an object with curves, do they change and things looks misaligned. I actually never had this problem until the big update near the end of last year I believe. It would always quickly snap back to a perfect circle or curve, but now only when things are attached do I see this problem. Sometimes ghosting inside something nearby corrects the problem for a few seconds too.
Just wondering why this happens (and never did before)? Seems to be when I manipulate circles, be it stretching or cutting them... especially very small detailed curves. I've had this issue checked with a few friends with varying cards and settings, and then my other pc and in all the screenshots the same issue is occuring.
