Anyone know the truth of whether prims that sit across a Sim border cause lag? I've had someone mention it, and was wanting to know if anyone had some knowledge and data on the issue.

To be honest, I don't see how myself... But stranger things have happened. I want to know before using this method again.

Thoughts?

I don't see how they could cause lag. Prims that move across a sim border could cause lag, but stationary prims, no.

Er... Considering that the welcome area always has dozens of people in it... How can you tell?
