I have seen an object that one player attached (I think) then the other player clicked on it and it simulated a piggyback ride...first player walked with second one on his back...movement was smooth, like the Avatars were attached, so it wasn't a follow object being ridden. Also seen a rideable dragon AV for sale.

Of course, like everything including most freebies, it had NOMOD set so it could not be examined.

I am trying to reproduce this to make my taur AV rideable. Unfortunately, everything I try, the second I attach it becomes unclickable by other players. Does anyone have any idea how I could implement this? I know it can be done, the piggyback disk I saw shows it, I just can't seem to work around the SL limitations to get there. Any help would be appreciated.

First, happy first post on the SL Forums, Royce!

2ndly, some of what you are describing sounds like the masterful work of Strife Onizuka. He posts to the forums and I'd send him an IM... he really knows this stuff well. Example:

That is what I was trying for! :) I was just testing with a box attached to myself since I didn't want to spend half my cash on the taur AV until I was sure I could make it work :) I will have to get hold of him, I know another player with a taur that messed around with it for a couple days and gave up...he has a nice saddle attached to the AV, but it doesn't work, just like my boxes didn't.
