It's almost getting repetitive eh?

In light of this:
/3/3d/2797/1.html

Darkwood (as well as most other themes) will be going through some revisions.

Currently we have a confirmed 8 people to buy half the sim. Our goal is to buy the whole sim - 16 people or preferably more (to lower the cost for everyone).

What does this really mean?
We are looking for people who thought DarkWood was too restrictive but want a fantasy themed environment, and are willing to buy a significant portion that 1/16th a sim.

How much does 1/16th a sim cost?
By my estimate - $12,288 + $2,304 (tax). That is $14,592 intially, $2,304 weekly.

What if I can't afford that much?
If you are still interested, each little piece bought helps.

If we get more than 16 people, then the price drops for everyone of course.

But what does this mean for DarkWood?
Assuming we manage to get an entire sim here is the plan.
The land will be divided into four regions. Each region will be controlled by a unique faction. One region will be darkwood. Here are ideas for the other three:
- A castle. A large castle, towers, serfs, soldiers, whatever.
- Elfs. Lots of trees and magic and elfish things.
- Evil. Goblins, Orcs, Evil wizard towers, whatever.
- Undead. Worse than evil?
- Got an idea?

There will be much more space, no primitive limits, no script limits. And obviously much more flexibility. It will still be themed, this isn't an invitation to join us then build a roller skating rink. ;)

If you are interested please contact me, Ama Omega, in game. I am compiling a list of people and trying to make sure it all goes as smoothly as possible. :)

- Thanks, Ama Omega.

Here is what is happening:
Currently gathering as many people as we can, all interested, independant of how much land you can purchase. There will be so much work to do no matter what amount of land we get.

What we need:
* People willing to learn and help.
* People with money to buy land
* Anyone else willing to help.

What we don't need:
Um. Hm. get back to you.

How to get involved:
Contact Ama Omega in game - send me an IM whether I'm logged in or not. If I'm not I will get the email.

Other Notes
As always we need more people to buy more land on the new sim but it is not a priority. I have a generic / general / vague map up by the clock tower in DarkWood about what I would like to do with the new sim. It is *very* vague - a square divided into 4 sections plus a square on the side representing existing darkwood (more or less to scale). Click on a sphere to get a card with vague ideas for that region.

I am *way* open to suggestions and ideas. If there is any group that thinks they would make a good neighbor and want to negotiate one or more of the 4 sections just send me an IM!

If there is anyone that thinks I am screwing up DarkWood, am a Pampered Linden Lackey, that you could do better or that I have B.O. (or any other complaint or comment) please send me an IM. :) I also answer scripting questions. ;)

Can we have dissimilar themes on the same sim? If so, I'll take a half or quarter sim over nothing any day.

But I can even stretch it to an overall sim theme of fantasy past and future, 'past' with wizards and castles, etc, and 'future' ala my proposal.

Lemme know what you think, Ama.
