how to export Cinema4d

hi guys, how do I export objects in Cinema4d? Ive googled it and found a tutorial thats german but translated in english but it was poorly explained. Anyways i just need to know how to export it. thnx in advance

Export what, exactly, and for what purpose?

Since you mentioned a German tutorial, and since the C4D tutorial linked on the sculpty wiki happens to be in German, I'm assuming you're asking about exporting sculpt maps from C4D for use in SL.

I've never used C4D, so I can't give you any specific how-to's, but from the pictures, it looks like you can pretty easily use the material editor to set up a shader to properly map the vertex coordinates to RGB values. It doesn't look very difficult or complicated. But since I don't speak German and I haven't used the program before, I obviously can't say for sure. Hopefully someone who knows the program, and who speaks English, will come along and explain.

After the shader setup, all the regular rules of sculpty modeling should apply (33x32 vertices, one contiguous surface, etc.).

If you're talking not about sculpties, but about something else, please clarify.

yeah sorry Im new in second life.. yeah im talking about sculties. Anyways I made the material when i open it in Second Life it looks diffrent. Maybe i made the material wrong but i checked it. hmm ill experiment more.
