Uh, make it so that the prims don't overlap? No seriously -- physics is trying to model the physical behavior somewhat. It makes sense that 2 physical objects can't occupy the same space. _____________________

Gray, link all the pieces together before turning on physics. That will keep everything from falling apart. Then, before you turn on physics for the newly linked object, make sure that it's not in direct contact with any other objects. Otherwise you'll get that error message about interpenetration. Got it?

I seen this happen also.
I was able to work around it by getting OUT of editing completly, and then re-opening the editing window. IT worked for me. Hope it works for you. Wake _____________________

well i linked it all up there is 27 objects,,,, then i made gaps between everything, but it still wont let me set it to physical? so i dont know why You don't need gaps between prims that are linked to each other. Once they're linked, they're considered to be one single object. You just need empty space surrounding any object you want to make physical, no matter how many prims that object happens to be made out of. If your object is penetrating the ground, you won't be able to make it physical. If it's penetrating any other objects, you won't be able to make it physical. If it's got more than 31 prims, you won't be able to make it physical. If it's phantom, you won't be able to make it physical. Other than that, I can't think of what else might be in your way. _____________________
