Does LL keep example objects that people can have for free that may be torn apart to see how LSL and construction works?

I heard rumors that such objects exist... but I have never seen them

Look in your inventory, at the very top .... Library will be minimised by default.

Expand that and bingo a bunch of things to take apart.

Also check out Ivory Tower Library of Primitives for an in depth tutorial on building.
