How to link more prim to create one object?

Please help, i need to understand how create from more prim an unique obj.
For example : How link all base prim of a chair to create only one obj calld chair.

Select all the prims you want to link (you can select more than one prim by holding shift and clicking each prim when you are in edit mode).

Then press CTRL L to link them together.
