Is there a way to make what you have created apart of your body so it is beneath your clothing.

Hiya Allan Yep there is, Right click the object, attach it to which ever body part then using your position keys ect, place the object where you would like it to stay, Then when you detach and its in your inventory right click to wear and the object should go back to wherever you positioned it  If you want the object to b completely hidden, You can select texture (Edit window) and make it transperent, then the only way someone can see it is by hitting crtl + alt + T Nat
