Need help with building

I am having trouble with building things (a house specifically.) I've tried searching the forums, the "manual" and even Live Help (for which the only answer I received was "select all the bits then go to tools and 'link' "

Can anyone give me a detailed description of what Exactly I have to do? Please pretend like you are talking to someone who has no idea what they are doing, except that they can create a box and flatten it out, lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Ok.. Once you have the prims in the position you want, right click one of them and choose edit..

Then hold in your shift key, and click all the prims you want to be linked, so they are highlighted yellow.

Then go into the tools menu at the top, and chose link..

I'd suggest taking a trip to the "Tower of Primitives" to learn basic building techniques. It's well worth the time. Just do a find for tutorials and the tower should be on the list that the find search comes up with.

That's odd. I think Nanraa is interested in how to build things. Not learning how to link them. Although that is part of it.
