I wanted to try my hands at making sculpty prims but have no idea where to start.. like what programs to start with.. I'm a total noob when it comes to making sculpted prims.. I tried to look at the sticky post but didn't help..

so what program would be best to start learning to make sculpted prims? and are there any good video tutorial for the program?

thanks

There are several good choices for a beginner, and you will have to wander through the tools to figure out what is best for you. Try Google. Look on the SL Wiki. Search these forums for the hundreds of ways to answer your question.

This recent thread has many good suggestions, covering the gamut from simple (but still very useful) programs like Rokuro to the powerful (but requiring time/money expenditure) programs such as Maya, Blender and Zbrush.

As Lee said, you will have to decide for yourself what you want to do, then find the right tool for those needs.

You might try sculptypaint. Torley made a video tutorial.
