I honestly don't remember if I've posted this or not. I know that I've posted the shader as an attachment, but I've gotten a few messages that it's corrupted. It is now officially (perhaps officially for a second time) on a different server.

Why so many incarnations? The few batches were because SL changed the axis around and that was causing flipped normal issues. Then I tried incorporating some mirroring/tiling tricks to reduce artifacts at the extremes. Then I did something really stupid and tried fixing it for different NURBS surfaces (lathe vs. uv loft - more normal and axis problems).

I'm pretty sure fix10 is what it's going to be for a long time. Hopefully the mini-tutorial on how the shader is put together will offer enough insight for you to manipulate the shader for different kinds of things. Variations of this shader are good for things beyond sculpties.

Thanks again for creating this shader, Abu. For my money it's still the best and most flexible technique for sculptie making since you don't have to worry about having the exact number of vertexes to get good results, as long as the UV mapping is correct. You rock, sir.
