(the 'which' being my post just below)
How does one get an object to rezz flush with the ground? I always seem to be pulling my objects down by the blue arrows, but surely there must be a more exact way to get them level? Are there Very Clever Persons on this list who know?

when i first rez a prim its on the ground, if i go to resize it i normally click stretch and stretch it up and out from the ground, if you just resize it by numbers then it resizes all sides and that means part goes into the ground

Thanks, Tyci. The thing is, I like to work with precise numbers, so using the manual stretch method isn't really the answer, for me.

if you have use grid checked you can stretch it and see the number markers as you move it then lock it into the size you want
i use precise numbers also and do this all the time in my builds i stretch it to the number i want on the slider and its the same as using the numbers area
