I can't find information on the simple question: How do I install teleporters (or whatever they would be called) in my two houses on my land, so that I can tp from one to the other?
Please tell me where I can find the facts. Thanks!

I can't find information on the simple question: How do I install teleporters (or whatever they would be called) in my two houses on my land, so that I can tp from one to the other? Please tell me where I can find the facts. Thanks! Flieger, first question to you is do you have a TP script in your inventory? If not IM me inworld and I will drop you the ones from the Archer House from Help Island. You set them up by placing each script in a prim, one upstairs and one downstairs. After you will have to create the landmarks of where you would like to be TP'ed to, input these co-ordinates into the script and then save and thats it. Some TP systems are available to purchase in world, these may be a little easier to setup as they only require you to input the Co-ordinates into a notecatd and not the script. As far as I know all systems regardless require the Landmark Co-ordinates to be placed in the script or notecard. There are some systems that allow you to do this once if you are selling houses so that when your house is rezzed in a new place, the script automatically configures the TP positions. |

Larry, I really appreciate your help. I'll probably contact you in SL because I do not have the script you describe.
Thank you! |

You can also pick up a free teleporter system at Abbotts Aerodome (made by Cubey Terra - check his picks for store location.)

Fyi: There are two types of teleporters: one can move you a maximum of 300m in any one direction - let's call that a local transporter. Very handy for moving within a house; I believe this is the kind the Archer house has.
But, if your two houses are actually one on land and a skybox above 300m, then you need the other type of transporter (based on the llWarpPos command). Personally, I just use landmarks to get there. There are free scripts for both. |

I highly recommend the free Mark IV teleporter that Cubey Terra makes and gives away. Easy to set up, and can TP between any two points in the same sim.

I've gone to look at Abbotts Aerodome for the Teleporter made by Cubey Terra, and I can't find it. I went all over the domed shopping area.
Can anyone tell me how to find the teleporter? (I've sent an IM to Cubey Terra but no reply yet.) Thanks! |

Also and I havent looked into it but if you can save some time, how do I get my new store "listed in search" if you have the cliff notes on this that would be great. There is now a sticky in Residents Answers regarding this ![]() /327/b1/252152/1.html |
