Help...I have a prim of water that I can't delete and just copies itself if I try to move it. I have no idea what I've done or how to get rid of it. Help please

If it's copying itself when you try to move it, my guess would be the SHIFT button is being held down or is stuck in a pressed position when you're clicking and dragging it.
If that's not the case, right click anywhere, click on 'Create', and see whether or not the 'Copy Selection' checkbox is checked. If so, uncheck it and proceed to move the object(s) you were attempting to move before.
If you're still having problems removing objects on-screen, then I suggest you find the menu bar at the top of your Second Life viewer (with the object you want to delete selected), click 'Edit' and then click 'Delete'.
I hope that solves your problem.
Edit: hehe, just read your edit tag, it seems you've solved your problem. I need to pay attention to those edit tags more often.

From: MattX Greatrex I still need help this prim will NOT go away, it just keeps copying itself Hi MattX, did you try a quick relog? Ask a friend who is nearby, and ask them if they see the prim, if not that means its only on your side. I've seen this problem, only way to make the prim disappear is relog quickly. Hope it helps.!

From: Lightwave Valkyrie um is there more than one copy there in that one spot? try drag select all people can see it, and every time i drag it the original stays right there, tried returning, tried deleting, tried taking, the rock will not move at all, and every time i try to there is one right there with it, no scripts showing in it or anything, also i have been off and on several times and days lol, other people cannot return it either, or i just get another copy of it. I had put it in a rezzer and thats where this whole mess started.

Have you removed the rezzer? Disabled scripts and then tried to delete object?
