hi people,
i built a tube that is flexi... i am wondering if there is a way to make the top part that is attached to another prim stiff or at least more stiff so it still looks attached even when it moves. the problem is, i put a few rings around the flexi tube on the top part and i want the flexi tube to stay in the rings when its moved.
i see there is a point in the tube where it becomes "more flexible", which could probably be changed?

I am no expert by far, but I think what would work is create a short section of the flexi tube as a non-flexi, then link the flexi tube to it attached to the bottom of the non-flexi, so it looks like 1 tube, but the top small section won't move at all

Have you played with the flexi settings? There are a number of settings that control how soft or stiff your entire prim is. You may be able to get the results you want with this.

I'm a bit confused as to which would be the "top part" - the end that wiggles? Anyway it kind of sounds like you're asking the same thing that I'm wondering: if there's any way to attach a prim to the "wiggly" end of a flexiprim so that it moves with it. So far I've not had any luck doing that. I just found this thread, which explains why this isn't possible to do: /8/09/169918/1.html
