I seen some buildings where 1 prim has multiple looking prims that are not connected, was wondering how people do that?

I currently use zbrush

In the Sculpty each face has 4 edges, but you can make faces that have all the surface into a single edge.

If you draw a face with 4 vertexes A-B-C-D, but in the space B=C and A=D, this face becames a line.

But the line has not surface, so the Second Life engine does not display it.

To make that correct, but difficult to understand explanation a bit more clear, watch this tutorial. It's a blender tute, but you'll get the idea and can go do it in zbrush.

worth watching all his tutes btw if you're a blender users. (blender rocks!)

This is the trick that I use, the first step, because then it uses the adjacent hidden faces (b-c,c-d,...) only if useful about the ratio of the texture.
Each group of 4 lines is a face and all the faces are independent.
The letters are the Columns of the TGA, the numbers are the Rows.

you have to search about
ZBrush+degenerates+faces, because this is the technical name of this trick

It seems it s not possible, but my english is really bad....

I'm certainly interested in the aspects where Zbrush falls short, such as ncloth and degenerate faces. If Zbrush is able to do these, it's news to me! But I'd love to be able to drape cloth quickly over objects rather than flattening out a sphere/plane and bullying it for five-six hours to get the same effect. And I'd love to be able to make a series of railings or fencing that didn't look like the same zig zagging prim.

Can't do it. However, you can export your mesh from zbrush, pop it into any other program that allows for vertex point manipulation and flat views of the model, which is pretty much all of them so have a look around and see what's best for you, then re-export the obj once you're done and convert with zbrush's plugin version of the convertor.
