Does any know of a way to export things from Bryce for use in SL? ive got some gorgeous shapes and booleans i'd love to play with in SL, but i havent found any way of exporting yet.
is there some kind of utility, or some way of transfering my work to a program that will export SL files? ive heard of some people doing it that way, but i have no real clue how to go about trying it myself. >.<

Yes you can.

The way I do it is to export save it to my HD as a VRML 1.0 or .wrl file which is a common
blender format.

Then import it into blender, model it there some if you wish and then bake your rgb map there and save as a .tga

A more detailed description of the baking process is here.

Here is a pic with a standard bryce terrain mesh on a normal and a huge prim.

And with Bryce 6, you can convert the boolean groups to a mesh then export it as an OBJ or other format, then import the mesh into Blender or another program to finish off the process.
