I am probably overlooking something really basic and will feel silly, but I am trying to make an arch to go between two columns. I have see a few of these and they look like somehow you make a hole in a flattened box and then cut the box in half. I have no idea how this could be done. So far my best effort is to put a 4 prim object togeather 3 sides and a cylinder in the center. Pretty prim costly since the arches I looked at were all one prim. Any help would be appreciated. take your flattened box, put the hole in (circular), then cut to begin 0.375 and end: 0.875 (or 0.125 end 0.625, if that's more convenient, shape is the same).

gothic arches will require at least 2 such hollowed prims, overlapping.
to prevent z fighting (textures flickering back and forth between prims that share the same space) either make one slightly smaller, or offset it the tiniest amount (usually not noticeable)
