Hello. Ive recently bought me a sky house, or sky box. Which ever you like to call them. The only problem is I have no idea where to rez it. And when I try to rez it, it just rez's a very small proportion of my house. Also is there a designated area designed for sky houses to be rez'ed and stay there without them going to the lost and found. And or not rezing at all. If anyone has the answer it would be greatly appreciated if posted.

You will really have to rent or buy some land if you want your skybox not to get returned. If you want to play while you shop for land, there is the Maklovar sim, you can leave things rezzed for up to a week there if you sign up with their group and it isn't too big. If you buy on the mainland you can put a skybox anywhere you want, rentals and private sims all have different rules.

If you own or rent your own land then anywhere up to 768 meters if you want to have full editing rights. (This limit may be increased to 1024 meters with a future release.)
From 768 meters to 2000 meters, you can rez and have a skyhouse stay BUT editing rights are limited and trying to move an item may cause it to de-rez. Can't use a Landmark to TP there either.
Above 2000 meters, rezzed objects are not permanent.

prim limit

Also, even if you own the property you can only rez as many prims as its capacity and size. A 512 lot can support only 117 prims, if you have landscaping worth 70 prims then the house can not exceed 47 or only part of it will appear. Size wise, if you own a 15 meter wide lot and your house is 20 meters wide, you're encroaching on your neighbor's property and it will be returned.
