Alright, I have built it, but how do I get all the peices to stick together?

By sticking together, I'm assuming you mean linking.
To do this, you can simpley right click and edit one piece and hold down shift to click and select additional pieces (you can also drag a selection box around th pieces while in edit mode, the Select Only My Objects option in one of the menus at the top of your screen may prove useful in this). Be aware when selecting that the last one you select will become the 'root' or main prim of the linkset.
Once you have them selected, you can just hit Ctrl+L to link them.
If you need to undo the process, you can use Ctrl+Shift+L to unlink your selection. So if you select a linked object and do this, all the pieces will unlink. If you check the edit linked parts box and select a single prim in a linkset and do this, only that prim will unlink. This can be useful if you want to change the root prim, you unlink the prim you want to be root, select the still linked part first, then the now unlinked one you want to be root and link them together.
