Creating mirrors of an object

I have to create some rather complex shapes during some of my builds, which then need to be mirrored on the opposite side to retain symetry (things like airplane wings, couch armrests, etc). Is there an easy way to take an object and create a mirror image of it?

Not to my knowledge (although that might be considered minimal;) )
Wouldnt that be a nice feature suggestion ?

Hear, hear, Jeffrey's mirror script has been a life saver for creating objects with natural symmetry, like machinery.

Maybe we need a Jeffrey Linden before we get any of these built in?

Heh. That name's taken already, I believe, but it's not me.

Flattering, but... no thanks. ;)
