I've been building 2 years and it seems to me something changed with the in-world building tools - i.e. when you grab rotate and object in edit the rotation center is the object center of gravity not the root prim center. Is this my imagination or has this changed? It's causing me problems with positioning adjacent linked parts when it used to be simple... or did I go mad?

Apparently this changed in one of the recent updates for Attached objects, bringing them in agreement with freestanding objects, which have behaved this way (rotating with gadget uses cumulative object center, rotating with edit window numbers or script uses root prim center) for at least as long as I've been in SL, over a year. I so rarely edit attachments that I didn't notice, and was confused when someone else commented on this change.

I think they updated number entry too - the gimbal lock correction makes it even harder to rotate accurately around the root center using number entry i.e. it chooses inappropriate numbers for your euler rotation much more often than before... (yes bug was filed some time back by me)
