Your2ndLife.com has multiple job openings for Event Managers. Event Managers will perform such duties as:
- let people know about events, making sure the event is posted at the Welcome Area and on the Second Life web site, as well as other places events may be advertised over time
- let people know about the event by distributing landmarks for an hour before the event
- gather audience names in a text file list and email to Kerstin
- greet audience members and answer audience member questions
- set up chairs and equipement before the event
- keep audience members entertained and happy when the event host must perform other tasks
- make sure a Voting Booth is set up and working
- prize distribution
Event Managers may work on an 'as available' basis, or may commit to one event every week. The goal is to build up to hold one event every night of the week.
For each event, the Manager will be paid a base amount, plus a percentage of profits for events that produce profits. Not all events will produce profits. The base amount will be increased according to your length of service, number of events managed, as well as your responsibility and reliability.
