Question on prim cube next to property line

When you take a cube, hollow it out, and then remove 2 of the faces so that it's just an L shape, when you place this next to a property line, is SL still counting the 2 sides that were removed when it comes to if the object is over the property line or not? I have an odd L shape on my land, and I've put this piece against it and left some room on the other side so it never crossed the property line, but it keeps getting returned to me. The only thing I can think of is that the game is still looking at the 2 invisible sides as being there, so it ends up being more on the other property than on my own. Confirmation? Any way to fix this?

All that has to happen is that the center point of the root object be on your land.

And the center of a prim does not move regardless of how it's cut or manipulated, unlike 'objects' where the center may be different depending on how the linked objects are arranged. :)

Is there any way you can break up this 'L' shape into 2 prims that are completely over your own land?

90% of the time the center of the L shape is inside your lines, if they point in they definatly are, if they point out, your L cut shouldnt extend past your property lines anyway, which would put center probally right on the line :)

That was the problem, the center point was over into the other land. At that time I couldn't break the wall up intil 2 prims but now I can, so I'll try another approach. Thank you!
