Hi I'm just now looking into building stuff. Like houses and land so on. I like to find software I could us for these progjects. I have heard of a editing program but I'm not sure of the name of it.

I am new to SL and still learning.

best way to learn is too first off find a partner who can show you the basics, then go at it. and experiment. But I would suggest go to a sandbox or newbie welcome seminar and ask quesitons.

find the ivory tower and go visit there

It is a building that houses step by step tutorials on building and you can collect notcards that give you instructions.

Gee i should be getting paid for advertising.lol

Easier and more productive scripting

It's worth trying Scite-EZ combined with lslint, it's a great combination IMHO.

Scite-EZ comes from http://sdfjkl.org/secondlife/scite/ and integrates with lslint.

lslint doesn't have a couple of functions, e.g. llGetUnixTime()
Scite-EZ has a few minor problems, but overall productivity goes through the roof when you use the combination.

Never having heard of lslint before, I just gotta ask this, hopefully without offending anyone if I'm being overly cautious? Why should any of us trust a download from w-hat? Afterall, it was w-hats who delieberately crashed the grid some months ago, and it was more w-hats who went around bragging about what their friends had done, and griefing anyone who dared say they were in favor of the those friends having been banned for what they did. Why should we believe that this download from their site isn't chock full of malware, keyloggers, etc? Anyone?

god question chosen, they have been providing good services to the SL community as of late

i personally still feel uneasy with them , esp with the website that "checks" code online

Lslint is more or less a definition file, not really too much running program tho
