Any way to play sounds across parcels?

Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, sorry if it isn't.

I have a plot of land, half of it is used for a shop, and half of it is used for a playground. I wanted to have two listings under Find Places, so I subdivided it into two parcels. All's well.

Only one minor problem, I miss my pretty forest sounds that used to play on the single large parcel. Is there any way to get scripted sounds to play across parcels with the same owner? Without inflicting them on my neighbours?

I've come up with two options, but I'm not found of either:
- Put copies of the objects playing the sounds on both parcels
- Make a 16m2 parcel to use as the listing and landing point for the shop, and put up with no dwell and an odd lack of sound whenever you walk over it.

Thanks for the advice, Fairge

One sound device will play across property lines. There is no reason that you can't use the same setup that you had already, unless you turned off the option of having sound going into your property from outside, in the about land window.

Thanks Zindorf,

You pegged it exactly, I had the 'Restrict spatialized sound to this parcel' optioned selected.

So I'll just fiddle with the volumes so my neighbours don't go mad, and I'll be all set.

Thanks again,
Fairge
