Hi,
I have noticed that when you create an object on one parcel and move i to another the original parcel still supports the prims. This is of course extremely useful if you need to get more prims on a plot & you are building across a number of other collaborators plots for example.
The problem is when you clone stuff and move it and go back to it later how do you know which plot is supporting which prim? And how do you then link a prim to another plot to take over the support for it.

Amy xx I don't think it should be like that at all.. How are you judging which parcel is supporting the prims? Make sure to close and go back into about land after moving a prim to another parcel. The prim should always be supported by whichever parcel its on. Unless its linked to another one, or over the borders of 2 parcels etc.

Amy xx This only appears to be true, and only if both parcels have the same owner, and both are in the same sim. In actuality, all your prims in a given sim are supported by all the land that you own in that sim, and not by any one of them in particular. Your total prim allocation for a sim is shared by all parcels in that sim belonging to you.

Thanks for the responses - I will go and test his issue properly. In fact I don't own either of the parcels in question I'm just building some stuff on them for the owners. Hmm... Ok it appears that I'm speaking complete and utter rubbish. Please ignore this nonsense Ceera and Zapothet ar both correct
