Am I missing something or is the twist direction always the same? For instance, I am trying to mirror a twisted torus... essentially a corkscrew... but I want a reversed twist in order to have a matched pair. I could just be brainfarting today.. But, any help would be appreciated as I have just wasted a half hour trying and failing to get what I want. Come on.. laugh at me as you tell me the obvious cut/setting/thing I have overlooked. You know you want to ... Edited.. wrong term.. Not twist.. direction of rotation.. rotation.. not twist Second edit.. okay.. try revolution.. not rotation... revolution.. I want a counterclockwise revolution in the torus to match my clockwise other half of the pair.... (Obviously my brain is not funcitoning correclty now---heelp me...

Anytime I want something to go the other way, I throw a "-" in before the number. Haven't tried that with revolution though.

Revolution goes from 1 to 4... always a positive number.

hehe sorry, it's hard to visualize what you're after. i have an object where one spiralling torus comes up and meets another spiralling down the other direction. IM me sometime if you don't get this and i'll show you. maybe that's what you're after.

ok cool, gotcha. yeah i know how to do this. basically just make your spiral like you like it then copy it and make the skew value negative on the second one.
edit: now with a picture! also, i messed with taper and radius delta in that pic but those have nothing to do with mirroring spirals. only skew matters i think.

Thanks for the discussion and what looks like the solution. I was away from SL and couldn't try the solution out yet.. but I will tonight.
The pic looks like it is what I am trying to do.
Thanks.
