(If this is in the wrong forums, please say so... Because it seemed better than the Texturing. Also, I've checked the tutorials for answers to these, but I haven't found any)

1) Alright, I've seen some stores with adds for buying guns, and I have a couple of questions, if anyones willing to answer.

First off, How do I MAKE one in the first place? I don't want to go out and buy one for my outfit I'm making. If you can't make one, tell me.

Second, I've heard that you can make them into tools that can actually do alotta stuff, like I've heard that you can push people with them, or even fight with them. Is this true? And if so, how?

Third, are there any templates for them (And anything else that ISN'T clothing, like swords and axes?)

2) I've seen some characters that don't fit in the standard T-shirt and pants template, and I've also seen helmets that don't. I'm talking stuff like angel wings, viking helmets, and shoulder pads, how do I make these also? And are there templates for those?

3) (An extension of no. 1) Do I follow the same rules for making guns to make axes, bows, and any other type of weapon?

Thanks for answering these noob questions.
(Edit: I realize that the weapons are only used in Combat Zones, or push guns for moving people who wouldn't otherwise move off your house or land)

Okay, if I understand your question right, what you're asking about is called attachments, generally speaking. Attachments are just ordinary objects that you attach to your avatar. You build them like you would any other object, take them into your inventory, then right-click them there and select "Attach to" the place on your avatar where you want them. You'll see a list of attachment points to choose from. Once you're wearing them, you can again edit them to fine-tune the placement.

In the case of guns and other weapons etc. the object will be a scripted one.

I'm not sure what you mean by "templates". There are freebies floating around for all kinds of things, and now and then you may find ones with modify permissions.

Oh and yes, weapons can have all sorts of physical effects.

Alright, thank you.
