basics of making a necklace?

Can someone tell me basically the process of making a simple silver chain necklace with a name charm??? I dont want detailed steps right now exactly just do you use photoshop, then......??? etc. I have no clue about any of this, hoping my friend will understand. Thanks

You can use Photoshop and put it on a template for a jacket or undershirt depends how you want to wear it or you can make it out of prims. The chains I made with prims I used a simple pattern that I made out of a few semi-transparent prims that fit around my neck how I liked. Then I placed the necklace chain rings in the pattern and linked them when everything was how I liked it. I'm sure there are better ways but this system worked for me.
