Hi, I have a bit of a problem. I have been helping with a sim build, and selling all the buildings I have created to the owner, with mod/copy/no trans. She has said that she can't adjust textures on these because they weren't set to mod/copy/trans. I have not been able to recreate this problem on any items I have purchased, myself, and am wondering if there is anyone that has seen this happen? If so is there a way around it so I don't have to give over full permission items.
I should say that all textures I used on the builds were full permission textures also.
Thanks

As long as the objects are modifiable, she should be able to adjust the texture repeats/offsets or any other prim parameters any way she wants. What she won't be able to do is download and edit the textures since she hasn't been given copies of the textures themselves, just the objects to which they have been applied.
If she wants the actual texture files, then yes, she'll need full perms on them in able to be able to download them to her own computer for editing. That's got nothing to do with the perms on the build though.
Was the inclusion of full-perm texture files part of your original agreement with her? It sounds like it wasn't. If you want to be a nice guy, you can certainly give them to her, but if it were me, I wouldn't. I'd probably say something the affect of this:
"I'm sorry, but the inclusion of the texture files was not part of our original agreement. You asked me for a copyable, modifiable building, so that's what I made for you. If you'd like to purchase the texture files as well, I'd be happy to discuss that with you, but so you know, ordinarily texture files are not part of the package when a building is created for hire. It's kind of like when you hire a photographer in RL. By default, you're getting a set of prints. If you also want the negatives, that's something you can discuss with the photographer, and usually it's an extra cost."
The verbiage might need some tweaking, depending on the kind of language that works well with the particular client, but that's the point I'd try to get across to her. Your textures are valuable, reusable items. If she wants them for herself, she'd better be willing to pay a significant amount for them. That's my feeling on it, anyway.
