Anybody knows do panels for flexi-prims with cilinders?
I'm trying to do a skirt with a script, and it says me to use an object. I wat to do a cilinder as the primary prim for the flecs of my skirt, so how you do that?

Name your cylinder "object" and put it in the parent prim.

Create your cylinder, shape it, texture it. Take a copy into inventory. Create a prim with the skirt script, then drag a copy of your cylinder from your inventory into the Contents tab of the scripted prim. Close Edit. Click on the prim and wait for your skirt to be created.

Where to find a skirt script
05-25-2007 08:01
Hi all,
I am just learning how to make prim skirts and found this thread. What is a 'skirt script' and where can I get one? I'm having a hell of a time lining up the prims and I knew there must be some easier (automated?) way to get them all to line up and fall nicely in a row. Any help would be very much appreciated! <edit> Also, forgive the dumb question, but I just literally started building two days ago, what is the "parent prim" mentioned in the post above mine? </edit> Thanks! My guess is that the above users might be using my free LoopRez script.
Natalia Zelmanov wrote a great tutorial about how to use the script to make flexi skirts, and provides the free script in her two stores (one of which is Sirena's Fashion in Rieul; I can't remember the other one). Here's a link to her tutorial: http://slnatalia.blogspot.com/2006/12/day-97-making-flexi-prim-skirts-with.html I also wrote a much more full-featured flexi-prim skirt tool, LoopRez Deluxe, which comes in both personal editions (skirts are NO transfer), and commercial editions (skirts can be transferred). For more informations, see: - http://slged.blogspot.com/2007/01/introducing-looprez-deluxe.html That page has links to a YouTube video, so you can see LoopRez Deluxe in action, as well as links to documentation and other information. _____________________
