Help, Cut Off My Arm!

hey i need help , you see im makeing a singel robot arm for my av and i have the problem that my arm is bigger in places then the robot arm im makeing and i dont whant to have to make my arms eney smaller. A linden says i could us an inviasie prim to block out parts of my arm. i was wondering two things , one dose eney one know a better way to do this , and two dose eney one know ehre i could get one of these prims?

I'm afraid there's not much else you can do to hide your avatar arm. A lot of folks would like to see the ability to use transparency in avatar skins in order to achieve things like this, although the Lindens have been hesitant to implement such a feature out of griefing concerns (which I frankly don't think are justified).
