can you build an invisible skybox?

was wondering if there was a way to build an invisible sky box so no one on the outside can see it or the furniture inside


any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you :)

Blaidd, there may be tricks that someone can give you that would approach the result you are looking for, but I don't believe invisibility like you are asking for is possible.

If we could put up barriers that would render everything invisible except trees and land, then ad farmers would disappear, and land value would double over night.

Maybe set the texture on the outside wall faces to be invisiprim?

you copuld take pics of the sky view and texture the outside walls that way... it would at least "help"

No, you can't.

Invisiprims can hide some, but not all, of the items in the skybox. So placing a bunch of huge invisiprims in the space would make some things, but not all things, vanish.

Trouble is, it would do it for the people IN the skybox too!

"Come over here, honey!"

"Er, where?"

"Ah.... The floating dong by the prim haircut.

"Oh! I didn't see you behind that lamp!"

If you are inside the hollow invisiprim you will see normally.

My friend Paola just created a sky platform made invisible inside an invisi-mega-prim.

Fly to Bagat (180, 180, 500) and have a look for yourself. It's not perfect, but OK for an almost invisible thing in the sky. If you like it, please help yourself. It's a freebie.

{EDIT} The structure is gone now as the land has been sold. If you are really interested, IM Paola Delpaso to arrange a demonstration ... we won't be selling this thing because the griefing/lag creation opportunities are too large.
