Sorry if this is the wrong forum, maybe I should ask it 'textures' but where can I find info on how to achieve the 'underwater' look I've seen around?

Can you be more specific?
Much of the underwater look is because a room 'IS' underwater.
Its below sea level (usually sea level is at 20m).

Find some ocean, jump in, sink. The light will become bluish and gray. Visibility will decrease. Some clubs enhance this by adding more prims that are slightly opaque, and low lighting, but much of the 'underwater effect' is built into SL.

If you have a certain example that intrigues you, describe it. For more general information, search this forum for 'underwater'. ;)

Thx Sterling (looks like he cant spell Underwater!). I've seen the effect in a lake at Lothlorien, looks really nice and I would like to reproduce it.
