Hello,
I am new to Secondlife, as is My wife. Along with us and many others. We are wanting to learn how to build and make objects.(clothing, animation, items ect.) But have a hard time, finding; lack of a better term how to files, or templates.
So I am asking, those that have such items, and willing to help out, not just us but the many many new comers eager to learn. We ask those with the experince, and the assets of building. To please share them with us. So we as you can become builders, and contribute to Secondlife.
I hope to meet and talk to those willing to share your experince.
Thank You
Kale

Welcome to the game! (I'm rather new myself here.) While in the game, if you click on the "find" button, and then select the "events" tab, you can then select "education" related events and will find many beginner building courses that people teach while in the game. I think this is your best bet at learning besides just experimenting in a sandbox area and trying things out for yourself. Also if you have any questions, always feel free to ask questions here and people will help you out. E

Kale I've always been an advocate of practical experience first and tutorials later. Before you start out delving too deeply, try out all the functions in the interface first since most of them are self explanatory or have been designed to be discoverable. Discoverable meaning by clicking or using them, you'd know what they are for most of the time. So when you actually go to the tutorials, you know what it means when it tells you to click certain buttons, or perform certain actions. Its the same as learning how to hold and wield a chisel and hammer first before actually learning the art of sculpting stone.
