Creating "land" above water

Hi newbie here - may not use the correct technical lingo - but I think you'll get it...

I have 7040sq meters on the coast of a protected (for noe lol) ocean (mainland).
I cannot raise the terrain to come above the water level - comes just below.
Therefore I have been left to create 10/10 square blocks of which to turn into sand.
This isn't very realistic or appealing. I have purchased a few "mini islands" but again the circular patterns of the linked parts are not what i would prefer.

My question is this -
How can I create a more sculptured land mass to cover the 7040? Megaprims?
or
If anyone knows someone who can just come over and do this for me, or work with me, I would be thrilled (and will compensate!). :) It's not that I dont want to learn how - its just that I am frustrated at the moment.

Thank you

Not that you could actually use just like real land, no.

Sculpted prims (mega or otherwise), have bounding boxes that don't match their visible surfaces. So to walk on a sculpted prim hill, you would have to make it phantom and then build a rough prim step-pyramid under that fake terrain to actually walk on. The cost in terms of prim count could be horrific, and you would still often sink to your ankles or worse in the fake land.

May I recommend a nice house boat, floating on your all-water parcel?

Houses on stilts? Floating pontoons? Better than nasty geometric islands.

so many people end up with these types of land, the teraforming on mainland is horrable, but yes, it's there for a reason i guess.

i'd have to agree with the last two posts, a house boat would be nice, otherwise get yourself a nice dirigible and look to the skys, it's what i did :P they look great hovering just above the water too where you get a nice reflection.

So your final Nimbus Score is 8.15, a quite remarkable achievement for a biped. Congratulations Crunch, you should be very proud. :-)

I have some pretty convincing sculpty prim land. I can drop you a few copies, it has to be set to phantom, but it is more for decoration.

Thank you Ceera - Thanks - I didn't think about the sinking sand issue - would be a waste of prims to do all of that - and I have been on some of that sinking sand before - so I definately don't want that.

A 7040 houseboat - hmmm? - probably better off with a fleet. :)

Thank you Atom - I really appreciate that.

I have decided to create a lagoon - and do alot of landscaping and greenery to cover visible sculptie borders. I'll drop a few boats in there and some docks - thought about a Seven Seas fishing set up - but not so sure I want the traffic.

I love the spot - and, for the time being, I have wonderful neighbors from all over the world. I do have a nice house there already - so I will have to find a way to deal with the geometric shapes to some extent I suppose.

Thank you for all of your thoughts.
