Hi,
Sorry if this is a wrong place to post this or if the answers are else where.
I have looked and have to resort to the boards.
I just want to build things, but I do not know how to attach prims to each other and it is driving me nuts, how do you cut prims as well?
I have made several items and had to loose them due to not being able to stick them together, so please, where is the super glue?

1) select one prim, then hold shift to select a second (or more). then go to the tools menu to link
2) cutting prims is basically cutting out sections, circular around the z-axis. think of it like cutting out various sizes of pie slices, even from a cube. in the edit menu, the object tab, there're two fields there for cutting. one starts at one place and goes in one direction, the other goes the opposite direction.
search for the ivory tower of primitives, you'll be glad!

first i cannot find the ivory tower
second how do I select 2 prims, I have tried in and out of editing mode to select them both using shift but it will only select one not two or more, is there some setting I am missing?

Hold down the shift key to enable selecting multiple prims.

Go in-world. Open search, the tab for "all". Type in "Ivory Tower", without the quotes. It will be listed. I don't think you need to check the "mature" checkbox, but you may need to.

i shall give those a go,
I found out how to link prims on my own shortly after posting, there is something about being in parts of the edit menu that wont let you select multiple prims but got it now thanks.
I tried looking for ivory tower on the search but it didnt come up with anything, I shall try again.
