Generally speaking I'd say yes.
Why not set an object to physical and see what happens? You can pick them up and throw them, in a manner of speaking. You can adjust their buoyancy. I appear to have spelled buoyancy correctly the first time. This is extremely odd. _____________________

They succumb to gravity even if forward propulsion IS supplied. ^^ what if it is a "vehicle" (ie. AV sitting on it.) _____________________

A vehicle behaves the way it is scripted to. If you really want to find out what happens to your vehicle when the script isn't running, why not turn it off and find out?

there is hidden scripted functions you can access with a cript that will disable certain axis of force on a prim.
this is a example of said scripted functions in play in sl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bKrA5GNKV_g |
