Really large box without mega-prims

I may someday want to completely box in a 4096 plot of land (assuming the covenant allows it) using regular sized prims, not dangerous mega-prims, in order to create the illusion of different environments. The build would be like a diorama with landscape images on the walls and ceiling and then 3d objects inside the box.

My problem is, I don't want to buy/rent a 4096 plot if the diorama box is unfeasable, and I can't really test its feasability in a sandbox. Would a bunch of 10x10 walls do the trick? I know I can't link them, but that should be ok. I wonder how many segments it would take, assuming it's 30m high.

I have Virtual Builder - so maybe I really could quickly test the build in a sandbox if I get up at 3:00 am someday when it's nearly deserted, but I don't know if this would give me the most prim efficient build. Thanks for any advice on this.

A square 4096 is 64x64 m. Using just 10m squares, you can make a 60x60 box, leaving a 2m buffer all around.

If 30m tall, each wall will be 6 prims wide and 3 tall, total 18 prims, and the roof will be 6 by 6, total 36.

(4x18)+36 = 108 prims. I believe a 4096 holds 937 prims, so the box would be feasible, but would use up over 10% of your prims.

If you do choose to use the 20x20 megaprims, which are generally considered okay (especially if you make them phantom), I think you'll use only 33 prims to make a 40m tall box.

minimum
3high x 7wide x 4sides = 84

maximum
3high x 2(1wide x 410) = 2460

+ dividers

you do the math
