OK who else is having issues? ALL of my custom colors on my palette have turned to black boxes and the eyedropper is more trouble than it's worth!
ALSO....can anyone else tab to move between settings within the edit objects menu? ARGH just put stuff BACK PLEASE!

My previous custom colors did get erased, which is not too suprising considering that the way they get stored has changed. It's a little annoying, but not the world's biggest deal. The eyedropper takes a little getting used to, but it works.
As for the other problem you're experiencing, I haven't had that one. Tabbing between fields functions perfectly well. I have noticed in the past though that the editor begins to behave strangely when my system is low on memory or when my mode/router need a restart. Have you tried rebooting everything and then testing the tab key again?

The eye Dropper is cool! I tried it out lastnight on a prim by rezzing an object (cube) then in Edit>>Texture I selected the eye dropper and clicked on the black side of my Avatar which consists of a Spere which is a fauxe shiny black ( white highlights) and then clicked on the rezzed cube, Voila! it transfered the texture right onto the cube for me very easy not just for specialized colors it seems.

Shara, when you go to pick the textures for an object, click on the eyedropper tool, it will turn yellow. Then click any other object with the texture you want, and it will transfer that texture to the new object. Pretty cool.
