Hi there:
I am wondering if there is a "safe" way to back up textures so they don't have to ALL stay in inventory folders. I have tried a couple of organizers but wonder if anyone has a better way to back them up so their inventory isn't so jam packed lol

Thanks

Hi Trina

The following are the options I can think of:

- You can use a variety of texture organisers and if you have the time and patience to copy them in and categorise them that may be a the best method.

- For purely backup purposes you can drag them all into the contents of one or more storage prims...

- Totally impractical method - save them all to your computer...

I don't suggest any of these methods be used as an alternative to keeping them in your inventory only as a backup, if you feel the need. I have 1000's of textures and just keep them wherever possible, and as time allows, in suitably named folders within folders... one day LL will provide a suitable in game storage and viewing system... maybe.
