CW and CCW staircases

I want matching staircases one that curves with a CW slope and one that curves with a CCW slope. In other words I need a mirror image of the staircases. I can only seem to generate one kind of sloping curve and I can't get it to do a mirror twist. The revolution function doesn't have negative values so I'm kinda stuck. I have tried rotation on axes and things, but Im having a right hand curve and left hand curve issue. If anyone can help me with this I would be grateful, otherwise I guess I'm gonna have to generate stairs with lots of prim step instead of using tubes.

Thanks, Gabe

Search the scripting forum for Jeffrey Gomez's Prim Mirror. It works really well, saves a ton of time and frustration over reversing things by hand.

For spiral ramps I use tube prims. + or - skew for CCW or CW. Though CW ramps done this way are prone to behaving like solid cylinders randomly over time.

For spiral stairs, i use cylinders (or tubes) and move the cut values along depending on how many steps and what final rotation. Jeffrey's prim mirror tended to get into trouble with the torus stuff I was doing making tendrils for a dragon av.

Thanks guys. I used the Prim Mirror and it worked well. Thats where I saw the error in my ways. I didnt realize what the skew function did with cylinders and tubes, now I do. So now I have a set of cool wing stairs and matching curved glass banisters.

Thanks again.
