I want to sell original items and I want the prim its displayed in to poof at the sale.
So far I can not do it.....I set a prim (a box) to sell original and set the price the same as the price set on its content item - and the content item to sell original...when you buy...u get the contents and no one else is able to buy it, but the prim its in still stays. Is there a way to set the display prim to go along with the item it sold?

Doesn't the new owner own both the container and the contents when you set it to sell original? They're supposed to take it away with them.

What happens is this...the new owner gets the contents and the prim is no longer active to others...the new owner can 'take' the prim because he does own it but it doesn't dissappear unless the owner actually does this. The buyer would not know he can take the prim unless he clicked again on the prim to see that the 'take' option is there. But why would he look if the item they bought is already in his inventory with a message that they are now the owner of such-nsuch item.
I could set the property to delete unowned prims after a certain time limit but then that would cause the few other players prims I allow to keep in the store to return to them. The land is not group owned so I can not give them permissions without giving them full editing permission, which I do not want to happen.
Anyone have any other suggestions to my original question.

You could set it to sell a copy. The original will get a CHANGED_OWNER event and could make itself poof. The copy will end up in the new owners inventory.
