Hi folks

Can anyone provide any tips or point me to any tutorials that will help me cut down on my prim useage. I am creating highly decorative objects but my prim count is big and I can't think of any other way of doing it (without texturing the detail on, which in my opnion doesn't look as good)

Any tips?

I'd suggest you look for creative, not-so-obviouse prim shapes to use. Here's some starting points:

-Search on 'PRIM TORTURE' in the OLD wiki. ( Was it at "www.rsl.org"? I'm at work and don't have my bookmarks with inme.)
-Visit the Ivory Tower of Prims, yet again, and look closely.
-There's a fine display of creative shapes on the wall at YADNI's, you can take a copy for reference.
-And join the scripters group and sign up for a JEWELRY class...they have some marvelously imaginative techniques.
