Bein' dumb...I rezzed a large object with about 1/4th of it covered by land...

...and then I unlinked all the pieces...(I only wanted part of the object)

...there are at least two, probably three prims now INSIDE the ground...I can't lower/raise/smooth/flatten/etc. the land enough to let these prims show...can't can't "camera" under the ground to select them...

...I've basically got three prims sittin' underground wastin' at my prim limit! Any ideas? (other than changin' the group on all my other objects and land so that I can simply return those three)?

Yes. I can't remember exactly what the option is called, but if you bring up the Debug menu, you can turn the ground off altogether! (surface.... something or other.)

Debug is, um... Ctrl + Alt + D. Or is it Ctrl + Shift + D. Or is it Ctrl + Shift + Alt + D?

Well, anyhoo... it's true. You can just choose not to render the ground. I used to use it for the exact same purpose.

you can also try to select the area where you laid the prims, sometimes you get lucky and if you can get enough of the prim in the box you will be able to catch it, or just return all your objects to yourself.

Its actually the "Surface Patch" option you have to uncheck to make the ground disappear. :)
