I've recently noticed on some of my prim skirts the textures seem too be messed up, i've placed a image below for example. Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this and is there anyway too fix this?

Thanks for the help in advance.

The texture on your skirt is a 32-bit texture. It either has transparent elements in it, or it has been inadvertently saved as if it needed the extra 8 bits for transparency. You're seeing the "alpha sorting glitch." If it's your own texture and if it really isn't supposed to be partly transparent, go back into Photoshop or whatever program you used to create it and save it again as 24-bit TGA or PNG. On the other hand, if it is *supposed* to have transparency or if it isn't your own texture, all you can do is live with it. Consult the sticky about alpha channels at the top of the Texture Tips forum for more information.

Yes it was my own texture and it was saved as a 32 bit .tga file so i'll redo it, thanks Rolig
