Auto Align help

I've seen several houses that have a function called auto align. I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to get one...help

There are several commercially available auto-builder/rezz tools in world. But if you want something free or that you can modify for your own needs, check out Builder's Buddy.

It can auto-rez a large build, and will align it to a base "build" prim. Reposition the base prim and tell it to reposition the build, and it will. You'll need to know something about scripting to work with it, and you should read the whole thread linked above as it contains several versions of the builder buddy code with different features.
